To further study and implement The Belt and Road initiative, help students to establish the community consciousness, further encourage the students' interest in English calligraphy, standardize students' English writing, cultivate good habits and enhance the basic skills of English writing, teachers in Senior One decided to organize an English calligraphy contest, aiming to enrich campus life, build a better English learning atmosphere in school, and promote the healthy development of students through this activity. Shuangliu Middle School provided the students with a stage to show themselves and promote international understanding at the same time.

All students were fully prepared and actively involved. The competition was very orderly and students participated passionately. They carefully wrote each letter and word within the specified time.

At 5:00 PM on November 4, 2018, 5 contestants from each class were selected to participate in the finals in the second room of the multi-function hall. They all faced the challenge bravely.

After the intense competition, the first, second and third prizes of the English calligraphy competition were selected in accordance with standard handwriting, reasonable spacing, beautiful layout and neat and smooth writing.

The activity stimulated the students' interest in learning English, which had a positive impact on standardizing English writing and developing good writing habits, and created a good atmosphere on campus. In the future, we will continue to carry out such activities to further enhance students' learning awareness and improve their academic performance and English.
