My First Travel to Emei
Travel contributes to broadening our horizons, which can not only enrich our life experience effectively but also connect us with fresh nature. I have had the experience after I went to Emei Mountain with my parents last summer vacation.
Emei, located in the southwest of Chengdu, has established the reputation as the most graceful mountain in the world. We drove there ,but when we stepped on the ghat along with green trees, the sky suddenly turned dark and it began to rain a little. I complain-ed to my parents and we could do nothing but wear a raincoat, which made us move slowly.
After suffering in the rain about two hours, we were tired of climbing. Fortunately we got a chance to take a cable car to the place close to the top of the mountain. To our surprise, as soon as we got off, the rain stopped and soon a sea of white clouds and
bright sunshine appeared in the blue sky, which made me feel instantly refreshed. What impressed me most was the sight named Sheshen Cliff, which is completely vertical. Everyone was frightened to death to get close to it.
In the afternoon we reached the top of the mountain. A golden Buddha stands tall and upright, shining in the sun. How magnificent! Many people took photos in front of it, wishing for good fortune. After that, while going downhill, we saw monkeys jumping up and down along the path, even harassing tourists for food. The fun with monkeys cannot be avoided.
Travel to Emei is a feast for your eyes and worth a try!
