During life’s long journey, you may make many friends. However, a soul mate can be rare. Fortunately, I met Ella, who always understands me and cares about me. We have been best friends all this time.

I remember clearly the first I met her. She was a quiet girl, sitting by the window. Because of our similar personalities, we became good friends. From then on, we have almost always done everything together. We share similar hobbies and interests, joys and sorrows. When I was ill, she was always by my side and has accompanied me through tough times. She is also someone who always understands and supports me, and because of that I have always trusted her from the bottom of my heart.

To keep a friendship forever, I think honesty and understanding are the most important things. What’s more, we are expected to forgive each other for small mistakes in order to avoid quarrels. Nothing is absolutely right or wrong. So don’t be too serious about your good friends’ small mistakes. Last but not least, friendships are give-and-take. Friends should be ready to offer support and help each other.
